Timeless elegance.In 1977 Fritz von Allmen passes the family business to his son Dieter. He expands the product range and successfully leads the brand into the future. In 2017 his son Manuel takes over company leadership. He had previously worked with his father for 12 years.

Steps for eternity.The von Allmen family secures the future of the traditional brand and shoe production in Switzerland by transferring Kandahar to the entrepreneurial Müller family. In Sennwald in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, Kandahar shoes continue to be handcrafted piece by piece. Manuel von Allmen will continue to support Kandahar in an advisory role.
