The curling sole made of rubber guarantees a firm grip on icy surfaces. The lambskin lining absorbs moisture from the foot and keeps it dry. The foot is thus superbly protected from the cold. Like all Kandahar shoes, the cork insert in the sole in combination with the lambswool insole also provides warmth from below.
